Mission

It is the mission of the Woodland Educare program to provide working parents a quality, supervised, before and after school program. Yet it is not a baby-sitting service, nor is it limited to working parents.

The Educare program is a well-rounded program featuring several different and enriching components. The children are divided by age groups. We do homework, center activities, some art activities and have playtime.

 

Hours

This program is available to Pre-K through 5th grade students currently enrolled at Woodland Elementary.

Our before school program for Pre-K is 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM and K-5 students is 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM

Pre-K after school care from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM OR 2:00 PM - 6:00

K-5th after school care provided between 3:15 PM and 6:00 PM

A snack is served daily after school.

We are open on 1/2 half days and most vacation days. The director will have sign ups for this 3 weeks prior to break. Please make sure that your child brings his/her lunch on these days. We also have an extensive Summer Educare program.

 

Educare Pre-Kindergarten Fee Schedule

Application/Registration Fee                      $15.00 per child

7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.                                   $3.00 per child

2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.                                  $5.00 per child

2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.                                  $12.00 per child 

Half Day/12:00 p.m. dismissal                   $15.00 per child

Summer Care - weekly rate                        $100.00 week/child

Summer Care - daily rate                           $25.00/day per child

Late pick-up fee (per child)                        $10.00 for 1st 15 minutes, $10.00 each additional 15 minutes after

Returned check fee                                     $12.00

 

 

Daily Educare Fee Schedule

Application/Registration Fee                    $15.00 per student

7:00 - 7:45 a.m.                                         $3.00 per day

3:15 - 6:00 p.m.                                         Students on fee-waivered list- $5.00 per day/student

All other students                                      $7.50 per day/student

 

Half Days (2 days during the school year)

12:00 - 6:00 p.m. "Half Day"                     $15.00/student

Late pick-up fee (per child)                        $10.00 for 1st 15 minutes, $10.00 each additional 15 minutes after

3 & 4 year old ECLC, Preschool Program

Offered daily from 8:30AM to 2:00PM

Our ECLC Preschool classroom is a child friendly, center based environment where children have a variety of activities and materials to explore. Our Pre-school teachers, Summer Carden & Kaylee Reese, use age appropriate curriculum. Our centers include, but are not limited to: computers, socio-dramatic play, game cubes, math, reading, blocks, brio table, science, music, arts and crafts, cooking, board games, and many more. We also use the cafeteria for meals and snacks.

Weekly Tuition: $130.00/child

Returned Check Fee: $12.00

New Transfer Student Enrollment

Educare directors will coordinate with previous schools for transfers between Johnson City Schools to assure there is no Educare tuition debt at the previous school before enrolling a student into the Educare Program. If debt does exist, enrollment will be denied until the debt has been paid to the previous school.
